BeatBlitz

BeatBlitz is a rhythm-based action-platformer where gameplay visuals and music are tightly synced. Inspired by retro aesthetics and dynamic audio-reactive combat, players control Lyrik, a Rhythmkeeper, battling through levels driven by the beat.

As one of the Game Designers, I developed the core gameplay systems, designed module levels adaptable to music tracks and created enemy behaviours that respond rhythmically. I collaborated with artists and programmers to ensure a cohesive, beat-driven experience.

Summary

I led the game design and contributed across multiple areas of development to bring BeatBlitz to life. My work focused on syncing gameplay with music, designing responsive levels and enemies and ensuring visual cohesion through assets and parallax layers.
